The Future

(Are there keyboards on the walls?)

This is a survey to find out just what you want from Botcon Europe. You can not only tell us the highs and lows of BCE99 but also your wish-list for future BCE's. This includes things such as price, dealers, attractions, guests, days, times and venues.  Let's go!

All information is private and confidential and is only being used by us as a means to bring you a better convention!
Please fill out ALL the answers. They are REQUIRED!

A. - About you

1. Name

2. Email

3. Age

4. Sex

5. Location

(If Other Say Below)

6. Did you attend BCE 99?

B. - BotCon Europe Dates / timing

1. BotCon Europe 99 was a 2 DAY event. Do you think that worked well?

2. BotCon Europe 99 was on Friday and Saturday. What days do you think it should be on?

C. - BotCon Europe Venue

1. BotCon Europe 99 was held in a modernised church in London with ample facilities.

bulletIf you think you can better this venue (at a cheap price mind you) here's where to tell us about it, or if you think you can find somewhere cheaper and better somewhere else in the UK or Europe.
bulletWe are open to all offers but we can't guarantee any real changes in Location, seeing as it turned out so well for BCE 99.
bulletThe only real problem was advertising the dealers upstairs, something easily corrected for next year. All other improvemnts and suggestions welcome - what would you like bigger/smaller etc?

Please state your venue thoughts below ALONG WITH details such as WHY you think such-and-such is a good venue location.

D. - BotCon Europe Guests

1. BCE 99 was attended by Simon Furman, writer for TF Gen1 comics and Beast Wars. Who would you like to see at future BotCon Europes?

Note: More of Simon Furman is just as good!

2. Simon Furman was available for a 1 hour Q&A session at BCE 99, along with a personal signing/meeting opportunity. What would you like to see added to such an arrangement?

What would you like the guests to be inolved with?  All suggestions welcome!

E. - BotCon Europe Attractions

1. Name the one or two really major attractions or things YOU would be looking for that might really make you come:

(eg dealers of Japanese toys, particular video showings or guests)

2. BCE 99 had a fully functional kitchen serving as a cafe which provided snacks and drinks as cheap as we could supply them. This was widely appreciated.  What are your comments?

Anything to do with food/drink etc

F. - BotCon Europe Merchandise

1. Do you think the merchandise available should be available to buy on the day, included with the pre-reg fee, or available to buy with a pre-reg discount?

2. Would you rather see artwork by fans or ex-Transformer artists on the merchandise?

3. Would you buy a convention T-shirt and if so what colour would you prefer it to be?

4. Would you want to share an exclusive toy with that year’s USA BotCon? (This is unlikely - we just want your opinion)

5. What items would you wish to see at BotCon Europe

[Please Specify]

G. - Transport

1. What is your preferred mode of transport?

H. - Dealers

1. Would you attend as a dealer? Do you know anyone who would?

2. If there is a dealer present with prices you think are a complete rip-off - what would you do?

I. - Costs

1. What is the maximum you would pay for a standard 2 day event without a free T-shirt or anything else BCE 99 offered with the price?

Your email field will appear empty when submitted - don't worry, it's hidden
