DESTRON HISTORY ACCORDING TO GENESIS TIMELINE (V 1.2)
---------------------------------------------
Compiled by Hellbat. 1998.

In the begining the destrons were just a unit of regular
Decepticon troops under the command of Deathsaurus, one of megatron's
leiutenants. They functioned as beast handlers, training wild
Cybertronian creatures to serve as attack animals, scouts, or hunters.

Deathsaurus grew impatient with megatrons plans to conquer
cybertron, he considered the neverending struggle for supremacy to be
pointless, when the Decepticons could leave cybertron to the Autobots
and easily conquer other, more energy rich worlds. His followers also
believed the obsession with conquering cybertron that the other
Decepticons held, had hindered thier progress and they were wasting
thier time.

Deathsaurus led them away to conduct raids and atrocities far
from Autobot interference. Leaving Cybertron in a large battle cruiser
they laid waste to distant cybertronian colonies, gaining in strength as
they moved from planet to planet, system to system. For vorns thier
reighn of terror continued, seperated from the war, some colonies had
developed some advanced technologies, soon stolen and put to use by
Deathsaurus and his troops.
Amongst this technology was the brestforce bonding process, the
orrigional group were bonded to thier beast pets, letting them share the
master's mind and the animals abilities. Other outposts were less
peacefull, one functioned as a weapons research lab, designing advanced
weapons to sell to the warring factions on Cybertron. This too fell,
leaving them with the research data on transforming weaponry. Adding
this ability to thier animal partners, Brestforce was formed.

Eventualy word got back to Cybertron of the chaos Brestforce
spread in thier path. The most powerfull neutral Cybertronians were
dispatched to stop the raids. At first they only fought defensively,
trying to reach the scene of an attack in time to chase Brestforce off.
But as the extent of the atrocoties became aparent thier hatred grew.
After many battles they became arch rivals, each caring less for thier
goals and fought to mearly destroy the other.

Vorns later, and having managed to throw thier persuers off
thier trail, they returned to Cybertron. Hoping to recruit more warriors
and a larger craft in order to defeat thier arch enemies and continue
thier schemes of conquest unhindered. Seperated from the Decepticons for
so long, they had become diferent, both in apearance, technology,
mechanics and behaviour, the whole sociology of the faction had branched
away from how regular Decepticons acted. Even thier language had become
modified and twisted. Deszaras, as he was now known to his troops,
realised they were outcasts and aliens on thier homeworld. no longer
Decepticons, but Destrons.
Under Leozak's command, Hellbat scouted the plannet for a
suitable target.Selecting the neutral city of Tryodin the Destrons
landed in force. Working in an aliance with the other Decepticon
factions they captured the city, executing the ruling council. The city
was assigned to Destron rule, and was used as a staging and fueling area
for Decepticon operations in that sector. The city's population was
given a simple ultimatum, serve Dezsaras or join the coincil who's heads
were promenantly displayed in the main street. It was soon clear
Megatron was still fighting the war the same way...and had made little
progress over the course of thier long absence.
Deszaras worked in aliance with Megatron for a short time, but once more
found himself frustrated at the progress of the conflict.
Deszaras ordered the Tryodin citizens, now his involuntary
subjects, build him a new battleship, bigger and better armed. using the
resources they had returned with as well as those from the city, the
Drednought was soon complete and fully suplied for a new foray of
conquest.

The Destrons, along with a few recruits, boarded and set off for
an energy rich planet Starscream had discovered. Once clear of the city,
Deszaras repayed the citizens for thier hard work by releasing them from
the war, permanently. The proton charges his troops had been laying
under the city were detonated. The city, and everything in it, was
utterly destroyed. The crater of Tryodin would serve as a permanent
reminder, ensuring no one on Cybertron would forget the Destrons.

The planet Mobius was inhabited by all manner of semi intelegent
mechanical creatures, some with the ability to combine into giant
super-robots. The also found a team of cybertronian engineers, the
Constructicons, who had been sent millenia ago, thier long forgoten
mission: to rebuild the plannet into a cybertron style world. After
capturing and examining some of these creatures, and with the help of
the Constructicons they duplicated this process too, forming the massive
Leokaiser gestalt.
Over one of the oceans the Destrons found a huge floating city.
Breaking in thanks to Hellbat's powers they discovered it abandoned,
it's builders having died out aons ago. Deszaras claimed it as his
headquarters and Brestforce began collecting energon to re-power the
city.
The Decepticons followed, megatron claiming the planet as his,
ordering it be known as 'planet Megatron'.The Autobots were not far
behind. As the fighting began anew. Disgusted with the way the
Decepticons refused to acknowledge the Destrons right to gather
resources, Deszaras once again prepared to lead his forces away to
strike out on thier own.
Hellbat used the old Destron ship to construct a monolithic energy
converter, big enough to fully re-power the Citadel. The Decepticon's
Elite stumbled across it and forced entry, sabotaging the facility.
Meanwhile the other fighting had triggered a self
destruct mechanism deep within the planet. Leozak planned to instead
collect the energy released by the planets total destruction, and
ordered Hellbat to modify his creation, speeding up the the forces
tearing the world apart.
The Autobots and Decepticons managed to escape in the Ark,
thrown off course by the detonation, they crashed on earth. Rather than
see such dangerous mechanisms anihilated, the Terrorcons and Seacons
were rescued by the Destrons at the last moment, placed in cryostasis
untill they were needed. The city itself , although re-powered by the
blast, was hurled deep into space, light years away from earth.

With the aid of thier unpenetrable, and mobile battle station
the Destrons tracked down and anihilated thier Cybertronian enemies,
leaving them free to continue thier conquest of the stars. Traveling
from system to system they raided and dominated civilizations too weak
to resist them. For 30,000 years they ammassed resources and populated
the city with all manor of slaves, both mechanical and organic, taken
from the planets they terrorised.

Star sabre and Victory Leo leave cybertron with a small group of
explorers to scout planets suitable for cyberforming. They discover the
Destron's trail of destruction but despite several scirmishes, are
unable to stop them or thier city base.

Amongst these was planet Beast, a feral, fuedal world populated
by humanoid animals. These proved to make excelent workers and with
enough persuasion could even be forced to fight allongside thier Destron
masters. Generations of these creatures lived and died aboard the city,
slavery and servitude becoming thier way of life. Armed and trained
these creatures made ideal warriors, serving loyaly in the Destron
Thrall armies for increased privilages. The Bulk of the City's
population consists of these beast warriors , but due to being physicly
smaller than most robots, they rarely perform notably enough to earn
freedom as a full Destrons.

During thier travels they visit Cybertron briefly, The
Terrorcons leave to explore this new hunting ground and are later
recruited by the Decepticons.

The Decepticons and Autobots are re-activated, Hellbat
intercepts a faint distress signal from the Ark. Deszaras orders the
city's gravity drive be used to fold space and translocate them to earth
so they might investigate. They arive over Japan and begin raiding the
islands below, testing the defences and slave potential of the native
organics, finaly deciding them beneath thier notice. In order to operate
more covertly, Hellbat rebuilds the Brestforce's altmodes as exact
replicas of terran vehicles.

Powered by massive solar arrays and its internal fusion reactors, the
city retreats into low orbit, cloaked from radar and constantly mobile
but unable to mearly spacefold away, low on power after the first jump.
Terran broudcasts and artifacts are declared contraband to prevent the
Thralls from re-discovering the concept of freedom. To begin with the
Destrons refuse to deal with the Destrons, but later an uneasy aliance
is formed with Megatron. Despite thier glorious past and vast resources,
they are looked down upon and treated with disrespect and mutual
distrust by most Decepticons.

The Calyhex Decepticons rebel and the Destrons try to join forces, only
to be betrayed by Scorponok, leaving them in a worse position than
before. Over the following months, Soundwave, Motomaster and others go
out of thier way to mistreat Destrons. The factions come close to open
warfare, but join forces to fight off a large Autobot offensive. The
Decepticons continue to disrespect the Destrons ways, continualy
interfering in thier plans and trying to bring them under the Decepticon
boot. Honour demands revenge.

Hun-Grrr is nearly destroyed by the dinobots but is saved by
Hellbat, who repaires him from near termination. The Terrorcons, also
finding themselves alienated by intolerant Decepticon commanders, swear
aleagance to the Destrons. Hellbat helps the Khan build a mountain
fortress for the Terrorcons, and in return destroys commander Scorponok,
ending the Calyhex plot against the Destrons. The Dinobots again attack
Hun-Grrr, causing even more severe wounds. Hellbat recovers the body but
is unable to revive him so burys him in a regeneration capsule deep in
the hidden stronghold.

Hellbat convinces the other Decepticons to join them in attacking the
Cybertronian vessel 'Steelhaven' , currently stranded on the earth's
moon. Gaihawk gains entry to the station and disables the defences.
Taken by suprise the defenders are quickly over-run. With the station
under thier controll, the hold the earth to ransom, demanding the
Autobots surender. While the Autobots plan to re-take the station,
begining negotiations to stall for time, Hellbat sabotages the ships
engines to overload, vaporise the steelhaven and crash the moon into the
earth. The Destrons withdraw under cover of a fake attack but attempt to
assasinate key commanders from both factions and show the Destrons are
not to be messed with, is narrowly averted. The Destrons blame Hellbat,
not only for the failed plot, but also for marrooning Leozak in space,
and sabotaging Dezsaras's cryochamber, leaving their leader trapped.
Hellbat is exciled from the City and Gaihawk assumes tempory command
untill Deszaras is freed.

Deszaras is released from the cryochamber and resumes command without a
fight. It's soon clear the long freeze has efected his nural circuitry
however, as he allows Hellbat to return. Hellbat brings Sixshot and
Rippersnapper to the city as allies, hoping they will help help him
regain his position. Hellbat is stripped of his rank, title and position
in Brestforce. He is ordered to duel Crimson, one of the now Mercinary
Elite that Deszaras has hired as alies. He defeats her, then Challenges
Auraptor to regain the rank of Commisar. Hellbat locates Leozak's body
as he passes thru re-entry and aranges to have him recovered.
A powerhungry Sixshot betrays them. Discovering the plot Deszaras tries
to have sixshot killed in the arena but he survives and flees, seeking
refuge with the Autobots.

The Destrons assist Megatron, launching a fullscale assault on San
francisco. The Thrall strike force causes havok but when Leozak and
Gaihawk are both defeated by Grimlock, the leaderless Destrons are
routed.

Hellbat learns the Autobots are building a new super weapon and Sky City
is moved overhead the Decepticon held New York to assist in defence. The
exect nature of the weapon is almost discovered but when Hellbat sends
Crimson to it's co-ordinates, she refuses to hand over the information,
despite already being paid to assist. The weapon Turns out to be
Metroplex and Despite destron assistance, a large Autobot strikeforce
frees the city. Metroplex's antimatter cannons are able to penetrate the
City's gravity wall and after a fierce exchange, the City is forced to
withdraw.

In dire need of resources for repairs, the Destrons use the city to
steal a supertanker. The Autobots of course come to interviene, and
realising the gravity shield is down, assault the damaged city. Several
Decepticons that survived the New York Massacre come to answer the
distress call, but the city is eventualy over-run. Forcing entry to the
central Citadel, the Autobots attempt to sabotage the engines before
they destroy Tokyo in a tidal wave. Wheelie succeedes in getting onto
the bridge and destroys the controls, inadvertantly overloading the
drive unit and begining an uncalculated gravity jump. Hellbat orders the
city evacuated, remaining aboard for his own reasons.
The Autobots watch what they think is the city exploding...
...under the Antarctic the City re-materialises *inside* a glacier.

Now the Destrons must find thier home before the Autobots discover it
still exists...and move in to finish it off once and for all.

Thier current objective: Find a way to repower their
fortress so that conquest can begin again
.... and for some revenge.
